GDP to rise above 4% on positive referendum
Deputy Prime Minister and Industry Minister Kosit Panpiemras is convinced that the economy could expand more than 4 per cent this year, if the majority votes for the draft Constitution.
He said this scenario is possible if the referendum results are satisfactory, comfort consumers in general, and encourage them to renew spending.
However, he noted, if the referendum results work in the opposite way, the economic growth this year would remain at least 4 per cent as targeted by the government.
