In this highly anticipated episode, player will discover three exotic destinations with The Sims, ranging from lush tropical island to pristine mountain top and the Far East. The Sims will embark on a journey of a lifetime and enjoy tons of new activities that will excite, relax and rejuvenate them. 

Sims fans in Thailand will also have a chance to take a 'Trip Za trip' by participating in "The Sims 2 Trip Za Ha Shot Ded" contest.

Wisan Pijitbandan, general manager of EA Thailand said, EA will launch The Sims 2 Bon Voyage, the latest expansion pack for the Sims 2, in September.  In this new episode, The Sims can explore three new exotic destinations.  Player can get Sims to book a holiday by phone, pick their trip companions and hop on a plane to the selected destination. 

"In other words, it's all about breaking your Sims away from everyday routines and venturing into new exciting locations.  In the first destination, your Sims can relax on a tropical island.  Once your Sims arrive at the destination, you will begin by checking in to a hotel, whether a luxury suite or a cozy room. Once checked in, Sims can unwind in the sun, build sand castles, swim in beautiful ocean or just explore the beach for other fun activities.  If your Sims feel tense, they can check into a spa and choose the various types of massage treatments. In the last destination, your Sims can explore the culture of the Far East.  In this enchanting scene, they will embark on a spiritual adventure and learn exotic ways of living such as soaking in a hot bath, Tai Chi, meditating in a Zen garden, and learning a vanishing spell from a ninja."

In the Sims 2 Bon Voyage, The Sims will take back home many great new memories, not to mention the many new items to decorate their home. 

The Sims will enjoy learning new exotic customs like local greetings which they can teach to their friends when they get home. They can also take pictures in various fun poses and hang the photos on the wall at home.  The Sims will also have a chance to shop for unique objects and collect shells on the beach as little tokens for their loved ones. Meanwhile, those who like it a little more adventurous can go on a treasure hunt to dig up hidden treasures.

EA also launched a special activity called "The Sims 2 Trip Za Ha Shot Ded" for Sims fans to stand a chance to win prizes such as an adventurous trip in Sims style. The contestants simply have to take a picture of themselves, with a green diamond on their heads, in the funniest and funkiest pose at what they consider to be the most exotic location and send it to www.ea.co.th.  They also need to write up a definition for "your dream Trip Za trip". The winner will receive a Motorola ROKR E2 and an adventurous package trip that includes learning to fly an airplane and enjoying the underwater world in a submarine. The contestants can send in their pictures from August 25 - September 23. We will allow the public to vote for their favorite pictures on www.ea.co.th from October 1-7 and announce the winner on October 8th. Voters will also have to chance to win a Motorola ROKR E2 and a complete set of The Sims2 with all the expansion packs.

EA guarantees the Sims fans out there will find the new expansion pack, "The Sims 2 Bon Voyage" enjoyable as the pack is filled with an array of activities waiting to surprise every player. Anyone who's interested to break away from the everyday routine and take on a journey with their Sims should be prepared for the launch on September 4th. As a special treat for the Sims fans, EA plans to launch a double pack consisting of The Sims 2 and the expansion pack, The Sims 2 Bon Voyage.
