Pliu: Tisco is strong without partner
Tisco Bank insisted that it has no policy and has no necessity to be merged with a commercial bank to sustain its leasing business.
Pliu Mangkornkanok, chief executive officer, said in a statement that partners would be necessary for new businesses and in case of financial needs.
"We are confident in being a niche small-sized bank where alternative products are offered," Pliu said, adding that Tisco remains No.1 in the leasing business, having been through ups and downs in the past 30 years. - The Nation
