Mitr Phol clarifies position on ethanol production
Mitr Phol Sugar Group on Wednesday insisted its policy to step forward its commitment to the production and sale of ethanol, according to its release to the presses.
Due to rapid expansion of the export market for ethanol as well as a government tax exemption, Mitr Phol has decided to maximize production at its Chaiyaphum facility.
Mitr Phol currently operates a stateoftheart ethanol production facility in Amphur Phu Kheo, Chaiyaphum province and is completing a second facility in Amphur Kuchinarai, Kalasin province.
Recently there was a report that low market demand is forcing the Mitr Phol Group to suspend operations at its second ethanol plant.
