The Switzerland-based Music Universe Holdings is investing over US$100 million (Bt2.97 billion) to build the entertainment complex Music City in Hanoi which will be fitted with the latest light and sound systems as well as multi-video screens.

It will contain a recording studio, as well as hosting a TV channel and radio platform with satellite transmission capabilities.

The flexible design of the 20,000-seat capacity amphitheatre will offer the perfect setting for indoor performances year-round and permises to showcase a wide variety of entertainment.

With the event schedule already set for the opening year of 2010, investors have estimated visitor members for around two million people per year.

The Music City complex will include a hotel and office building, restaurants, residential apartments, stores and other facilities.
