State lends help to cut logistics cost
The Industry Ministry plans to help industrial plants, particularly small and medium-sized ones, in improving their logistics.

Industry Permanent Secretary Chakramon Phasukvanich said at a logistics seminar on Wednesday that logistics cost accounts for as much as 30 per cent of the operating cost of some of these plants.
"The state could provide some financial assistance and if these plants can eventually reduce their logistics cost, they will become the prototype to others in the respective industries," Chakramon said.
