GMO crops field test to be proposed
The Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry will soon propose the Cabinet to allow the field test of genetically modified organism (GMO) crops again.
So far, countries around the world have farmed GMO crops with a combined growing area of 637.5 million rai in 22 countries and total trading value achieves US$6 billion per year.
