The 'S' in S Medical Spa stands for superwoman

The closest Soopsip ever gets to a mud bath is down on Granddad's pig farm, but there must be something to this spa business, because Pakpilai Thavisin's life runs like a beautiful precision timepiece.

Dr Pakpilai is the founder and president of S Medical Spa, and we're assuming she occasionally deigns to be wrapped in seaweed herself.

The rest of the time she's flying all over the planet, a multitasking whirlwind who keeps abreast of the latest beauty benefits and anti-ageing advantages while at the same time promoting her Bangkok business.

If she goes a-conferencing in Europe, she makes sure London is on the itinerary so she can visit her children, who are studying at Eton College and Downe House.

Pakpilai's publicity drives - and "drives" is a good word for them - have managed to put some famous faces in the treatment rooms at S Spa, like fashion designer Jimmy Choo and South Korean superstar Kim Jeoung Hun.

Frequent flyer Pakpilai and Singapore Airlines have become each other's fans. She's currently offering discounts at the spa to anyone who brings along their boarding pass.

Now, a discount at a swank place like S Medical Spa is probably not going to suddenly make it affordable for Soopsip, but we're overdue for a visit with Granddad anyway.
