Aniwan Arunorat, publisher of Honeymoon+Travel Group, was busy all night welcoming the VIPs, who included Tourism and Sports Minister, Suvit Yodmani and Khunying Songsuda, Jetsopit Pongsathorn, Sarun Wacharabhai, Sunattee Isawapornchai, ML Lucksuda Kridakorn and Suriyon Sriorthaikul.
The party also saw the launch of two new magazines, Food of Life and ShopAholic.
HM Group's Food of Life is a new bimonthly and will be available with Honeymoon+Travel in even-numbered months from next month.
ShopAholic will be included with the magazine in the odd numbered months and is expected to come out as a standalone magazine sometime next year.
Honeymoon+Travel editor-in-chief Intukarn Gajaseni Sirisant says five years of solid sales is proof of the magazine's outstanding quality.
"We have been consistent in presenting deep content together with wonderful photos, which gives readers the opportunity to travel through words and photographs.
"The magazine isn't just for newlyweds but for anyone with an interest in travel," adds Intukarn, whose favourite destination is Greece where she spent a superb holiday two years ago and hopes to visit again.
The party featured a fashion show by the loving couples who have graced the magazine's cover, among them Skowjai Poonsawasdi and Arthit Sripaplern, Supakij Tangtatsawasdi and Anoma Sarunsikarin and Cindy and Byron Bishop.
Saharat Sangkhapreecha, Jirayuth Wathanasin, Marsha Wattanapanich and Peter Corp Dyrendal provided the entertainment.
The highlight was the announcement of Dream Resort Award 2007 selected from 50 finalists nationwide such as The Rock Hua Hin, Baan Bayan, Aleenta, Anantara Golden Triangle, Tea Vana, D2 Hotel, At Niman, Kirimaya Golf Resort & Spa and The Tubkaak.
This year's award went to The Chedi Chiang Mai, an Asian contemporary hotel, which opened February last year.
The four runners up included last year's winner, Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi and the Banyan Tree Phuket.
