The royal couple also brought along their son, HRH Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti.

Many university executives welcomed Their Royal Highnesses when they arrived at the university around 11am.

The university also held an exhibition of the princess' activities and academic work, including her thesis.

The Princess' thesis is on the application of standard recipes to promote nutrition for pre-school children, with the Dipangkorn Rasmijoti child-development centre used as the case study.

Their Royal Highnesses looked at the exhibition before the Princess proceeded into the hall.

HRH Princess Chulabhorn Valayalaksana presented the degree.

After the commencement ceremony ended in the evening, the Crown Prince gave his royal consort a bouquet of flowers to congratulate her. HRH Princess Bajra Kitiyabha and HRH Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti presented her with garlands.

HRH Princess Srirasmi then had her photo taken with university executives and lecturers and some of her friends.

When she was later asked about a rumour, the Princess responded: "We know everything. I guess some people must have missed him".

Smiling, the Princess said the Television Pool of Thailand was going to broadcast the royal couple's work during their recent trip to Sweden. The broadcast is scheduled from August 3-5.

In a related development, the Crown Prince will celebrate his birthday today by making merit at Sukhothai Palace in the morning. His Royal Consort and his children will be present.

His Royal Highness will release 56 birds, a pair of cattle and 590,009 fish. - The Nation
