
Police have in hands pictures and video clips that showed the leaders instigating the use of violence means as the crowd were trying to break the police barricades in front of residence of Privy Councillor Gen Prem Tinsulanond, he said.
He was speaking after attending an urgent meeting chaired by Police chief Pol Gen Sereepisut Temiyavej.
"Our investigative officers are collecting evidence, documents and audio evidence, of the clash. We expect to press charge against the leaders of the protest within the next few days,'' Adisorn said.
On Sunday night, the anti-coup protesters clashed with police as they tried to move in on Prem's residence on Sisao Tevej area.
Adisorn told reporters that some 200 police were injured during the clash and were receiving treatment at hospitals.
The most serious case was a crime suppression officer who suffered broken leg after protesters drove car into him.
Police have arrested and detained six protesters, including Nopparut Worachitwuttikul, 46, leader of White Pigeon Group, Banthong Somkam and ML Weerayut Seneyawongse.
They were charged of using violence to harm others, threatening to use force and refusing to abide by police's order. The maximum penalty is not more than five years.
Meanwhile Narenthorn Centre, a rescue network of Public Health Ministry reported that 106 were injured during the clash; 77 of them were police officers, one was an army officer and 28 civilians.
