
The festival will sceen Thai as well as foreign films with discussions focusing on anthropology, society and culture on July 25 and 26 from 9.30am to 4.30pm. The programmes are:
July 25: The topic is "Marginalised People". Films: "Don't Fence Me In", "Major Mary and the Karen Refugees" from Burma by Ruth Gumnit, "Extinct: Land Mines", a Love Story by Dennis O'Rourke.
Topic: "In the eye of film producer". Films: "Into the Field" by Alyssa Grossman; "The Good Woman of Bangkok" by Dennis O'Rourke; and "Ciel dans un ardin" by Stephane Breton
July 26: Topic "Storytelling in film". Films: "Muang Kradod" by Suthirat Supaprinya; "Lao Du, 7th month_47" by Santiparb Inkongngam; "Tsunami", one place many stories by National geographic.
Topic "Muslim culture": Films: "In Between" by Panu Aree; "Toh Mode" by Maytas Buachum; "The Veil Unveiled" by Vanessa Langer
