The Thai Rak Thai group will hold rallies.



The Thai Rak Thai group will hold small rallies across the country on Thursday urging people to support them to set up new political party running for the poll.

The TRT group movement is regarding to challenge the junta, Chaturon Chaisang, a group leader and key figures will address the rally in Bangkok, while in the North and the North East, where belong to Thai Rak Thai's strong base speak by former MPs.

Chat Thai party gears up the upcoming election by hold the party's annual meeting and fundraiser on Friday. The highligh of the party's convention is to have wellknown TV host ML Nattakorn Devakula will be comoderator.

However, the Chat Thai has not yet kick off campaign like Democrat party who launch campaign "The People Come First" which air and held annual convention last Saturday.

The question of whether the disbanded Thai Rak Thai Party would be allowed to start up again with its old name or not depends on the National Legislative Assembly (NLA) meeting on Wednesday.

Last week the NLA passed a new law on the registration of new political parties but did not touch on the use of an old party name or logo if the party has been disbanded for five years. Yet, the panel would make a decision to address the renaming of disbanded parties in the session on Wednesday.
