The workshop stemmed from the recent MOU signing between Thai Education Ministry and Australian Department of Education, Science and Training, Kasama said.

The workshop would have Australian experts leading by Counsellor on Education, Science and Training Jan Gough Watson to share knowledge to Thai school directors and teachers about small schools' management, development and problem solving. Examples of successful cases would be presented and smallgroup discussions would be held, she added.

BEC had 11,720 small schools under its supervision thus it was necessary to help them efficiently run and manage in the face of teacher shortage, she said, she hoped school management in various contexts shown at the workshop would be useful to the participants to implement at their won schools.
