Both papers claim that Barca have reached an agreement with Roma to sell the French winger for around four million euros (5.51 million dollars).
According to Sport, Giuly will earn slightly less at Roma than at Barca, but will have a longer contract, until 2010.
Giuly, 31, flew into Rome on Monday night and - unless there are any last-minute hitches - will sign his three-year contract on Tuesday.
Giuly joined Barca from AS Monaco in 2004. Monaco were interested in taking him back, but Rome now appears to be his destination.
Giuly is the third player to leave Barcelona this summer, after Javier Saviola - who has joined Real Madrid after finishing his Barca contract - and Giovanni Van Bronckhorst, who has signed for Feyenoord.
Following Giuly through the Camp Nou exit door could be veteran forward Santi Ezquerro, 30, who is about to return to Athletic Bilbao after two frustrating years on the Barca bench.
Barca are also keen to offload Brazilians Juliano Belletti and Thiago Motta.
