Gwen Stefani confirms her Bangkok show
"I'm definitely look forward to come to Thailand again. It's always been a favourite place for me and my husband," the pop princess and street wear fashion icon, Gwen Stefani, told Weekend in a phone interview yesterday. She is currently in LA packing up her gears and getting ready for the Sweet Escape Tour, which kicks off in Mexico before moving on to Europe and Asia.
"I'll be bringing four female dancers - Love, Angel, Music and Baby - and four B-boy dancers. There are gonna be a lot of costume changes, lots of dancing and singing, and lots of fun!," says Gwen who previously performed in town back in 2000 with her bandmates from No Doubt.
The Sweet Escape Tour is her final road trip as a soloist after releasing two albums, "Love.Angel.Music.Baby" in 2004, which features such hits as "What You Waiting For?", "Hollaback Girl", "Cool", and her much anticipated sophomore "The Sweet Escape" in 2006.
With collaboration from big names like the Neptunes, Akon, Keane's Tim Rice-Oxley, the album features chart-climbing singles like "Wind It Up" and "U Started It".
The full interview will be published in Weekend Magazine in August.
