Allina Salin will become the largest shareholder of Sansiri.
Stock Exchange of Thailand data show that as of April 9, Chase Nominees 42 owned 7.99 per cent of Sansiri, Viriyah Insurance 5.56 per cent and Raffles Nominees 4.99 per cent.
Natural Park CEO Sermsin Samalapa said the company yesterday sold 205 million Sansiri shares through a big-lot trade and that the remaining 95 million shares would be transacted later this month at Bt3.09 apiece.
The company will mobilise Bt927 million from the exercise, of which Bt632 million from the first sale will be used to honour its debts to Siam City Bank, cutting them to B791 million.
Proceeds from the second sale will be used to repay debts to Krung Thai Bank.
Earlier, Siam City Bank put 205 million shares of Sansiri and 117 million of Pacific Assets - pledged as collateral for Bt1.3 billion in loans - under the hammer. But it suspended the auction after Natural Park agreed to repay in three instalments.
The first payment was made last month, and the second is due next Monday, with October 15 the deadline for the third.
