Poll to buy a condominium in Koh Samui

Peregrina Bay, the luxury housing development in Koh Samui selected by Sven Goran-Eriksson for his holiday home, has announced plans for the second phase of development as well as more famous owners.

The 12 luxury properties in the first phase have been sold and a second phase of 25 garden condominiums will be launched in September.

Mr Jeremy Sanders, director of Jemro Development Co Ltd the Developer of Peregrina Bay, said that he was delighted with the interest shown in the project and confirmed that Graham Poll, the renowned former English Premier League referee has also bought a property and will be one of the former England coaches' neighbours.

"Our project has gained a lot of recognition in Premier League circles and we are currently in discussions with several footballers about the project. We expect to announce further purchasers from the Premier League in the next few months."

Mr Sanders added: Koh Samui has a very high number of overseas buyers and we are confident that Peregrina Bay will continue to attract buyers seeking an affordable holiday home in Koh Samui Thailand."

Savills Thailand is the appointed international marketing and sales agent for the development and will be assisting the developer with the launch of phase 2.

Robert Collins, managing director of Savills (Thailand) Limited commented "Peregrina Bay is located in a delightful secluded area on the island, and we are very confident that the level of interest for holiday homes in Koh Samul will continue to increase significantly this year."

Peregrina Bay is a mixed villa and condominium development located at Laem Set on the south eastern frontage of Koh Samul island on the Gulf of Thailand. The villas and condominiums are available on either a long lease or freehold basis subject to buyers' legal status.

The development consists of mix low-rise, low-density residential buildings with a strong architectural identity. The facilities include a panoramic infinity swimming pool and a fitness centre appealing to several of the owners international sporting backgrounds.
