Movie attendees were required to turn in cellphones, cameras or any other digital recording devices before entering theatres.

Bags were searched and security guards patrolled entranceways and lobbies where policemen also helped to check bags.

"It's the global policy of Warner Bros Company in the US, as Thailand opened before worldwide screening," said a Warner Bros Thailand PR spokesperson.

Thailand's official premier today is open to anyone who buys a ticket.
