SET Index up 11.81 points

The Stock Exchange of Thailand's composit index gained 11.81 points as the market closed Monday, buoyed by continued capital inflows which boosted the daily turnover as well as the US$/Bt exchange rate.

The SET Index ended the day at 844.19 points. Top five most active stocks are IRPC, Krung Thai Bank, Thai Oil, PTT and PTT Exploration and Production.

Turnover totalled Bt40 billion.

Continued capital inflows into the market boosted the Thai baht above the $/Bt34 barrier. In the morning, the Thai baht opened at Bt33.89 per dollar.
