Activists against alcohol advertising
Anti-alcohol activists Thursday staged a parody outside Government House to protest against the likely exclusion of a much-awaited ban on booze advertising from a bill with the National Legislative Assembly.

The groups, led by Kamron Choodecha, complained particularly about NLA member Praphan Khoonmee's failure to strongly defend the article prohibiting most forms of alcohol advertising, despite his vow to do so when he met the groups earlier this month before the draft bill was submitted to the NLA.
Kamron said his organisations were planning to "take drastic action" against Praphan, as chairman of the NLA's consumer protection committee, if he still "failed to behave".
