
Seminar on culture and death

A talk on "Viewing Thai Society Through the Death of Buddhadasa Bhikkhu: 14 years on" will be given by Prof Prawes Wasi, Phra Paisarn Wisalo, Pramuan Pengchan, Kandaosri Tulathamkij, and Komart Jungsathiensab will share their opinions on "Seeing life and society through culture of death".
Group discussion topics in the afternoon include how to communicate with children to understand death, "death before dying" meditation, facing death, and sharing experience of taking care of the terminal ills. The seminar is being held to commemorate the 101st anniversary of the birth of the late Venerable Buddhadasa Bhikkhu. Seats should be reserved in advance.
