New York fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker, aka Carrie Bradshaw of TV's "Sex and the City", has become the latest star to enter the rag trade, with the launch of Bitten, an inexpensive range of casual wear likely to appeal to the student set.

Parker joins a long list of actresses and singers that includes Madonna, Kate Moss, Jennifer Lopez, and twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, all lending their names - and their advice - to celebrity clothing collections.
