Tammy out in doubles!

Tamarine Tanasugarn's time at the All England Club was over on Monday when she and Japan's Aiko Nakamura lost the rain-delayed doubles second round match to th -seeded Elena Likhovtseva of Russia and Tian-tian Sun of China 4-6 6-0 9-7.

   Locked tight at seven all going into the match, Tamarine and Nakamura dropped their service right from the start  to fall behind at 7-8 before the Russian-Chinese pair effortlessly held their serves to wrap up the match postponed from Saturday due to rain.

    The defeat was an agony for Tammy and her partner who held a match point at 5-4

in the third set on Friday before bad light stopped play. Tamarine, who reached the fourth round at Wimbledon for six times, crashed out in the singles event last week after losing to Israel's Shahar Peer in straight sets. .
