Nat's naturally beautiful

Since bursting on to the music scene almost a decade ago, Myria "Nat" Benedetti has been admired by her many fans not just for her voice but also for her sweet nature. Today, she is a well-known emcee, model, actress and businesswomen as well as a recording star.

What are you doing these days?

I've just recorded a song called "Tad Jai Mai Dai" ("Can't Get Over You") for Narongwit Taechathanawat's project "Sleepless Society2" and, together with some relatives, I run a small company that organises events.

Also, fans see me on television these days because I've been appointed by Olay to advertise their Total Effects line.

You lead a very busy life. How do you take care of yourself? Do you have any beauty tips to share?

I try to sleep for at least six to eight hours a night and drink a lot of water, but I don't have a set beauty routine. I sometimes go to a spa or have a massage, but mostly I stay at home when I have free time.

I love reading, looking after my plants and singing - that's what I do to relax. I use skin care products and UV protection and really like Olay Total Effects. And, it's not just because I'm the presenter, by the way. My mother has been using Olay for more than 20 years and her skin is still firm, soft, and smooth. I prefer to use just one or two products.

Are you afraid of getting old?

No, not really. Provided I know what my body and skin are lacking, I can stop most of the visible signs by taking good care of myself.

Do you worry about your beauty?

Yes, because my skin is very sensitive and allergic to many things. So I like to stick to one beauty product that I can use anytime and anywhere. I choose beauty products very carefully and use the ones I can apply easily when I'm in a rush.

Have you thought about plastic surgery?

No, I find the idea absolutely terrifying. When I was young, even a simple injection scared me. I think women are beautiful from the inside. It's not about looks. So much depends on the mind and spirit.

Where do you see yourself when you are old?

It's still a long way off so I'm not thinking about it yet! I don't even look to five or 10 years ahead. I think it's better to stay in the present and take life year by year. I just hope I will be happy with my family and those I love. The simple life is best for me. If we look at life positively, then it'll be good. I think natural beauty comes from taking care of our bodies and controlling our minds.
