Oh, how sweet it is!

Shu Uemura, with Sweet Mode, comes up with a mixture of candy colours to emphasise the sweetness of women. The firm's top makeup artist, Kakuyasu Uchiide, says the cheeks are the best place to play with colours, and they look good with white tops.

Three shades to give you the spring look are Glow on Blush with Sakura, Apricot and Sugar shades to choose from, each Bt820. Also try sweet-mode eye shadow in baby blue, pink, orange and yellow for Bt790.

Makeup artist Bobbi Brown also goes for the fun, romantic look with Pink Sugar themes. With just a flush of pink and glitter, you can get a new spring look this year, she says.

For the eyes, you can get both the glitter and pink look with Peony Shimmer Brick, with shades from light pink to fuchsia, all in one kit for Bt1,900. In the evenings, Bobbi Brown recommends pairing its Chocolate Eye Shadow or any brown eyeliner with pastel pink eye shadow.

Stila also introduces dreamy colours in high-shine lip colours with an extra sheer, extra shimmery formula. Try Ariel in pink ice, Guinevere in lilac or Louise in Cotton Candy for Bt780. The collections all have girly names - Serena, Diane, Mandy, Linda - so if you want to have cosmetics with your own name, there are 12 to choose from!

If you're bored with pastels, MAC offers some alternatives with its MAC Temptations, collections with the five top-selling shades of lip gloss in petite sizes for Bt1,500.
