Sarayuth makes a surprise return

Thai forward Sarayuth Chaikamdee who was dropped and not considered for Asian Cup squad, has joined the team and vowed to prove that he is well worth a place in coach Chanvit Pholchivin's side.
Initially, Chanvit decided to drop Sarayuth after the striker failed to impress during the German trip. Chanvit's men, who returned home on Tuesday, resumed the training camp yesterday after taking two days off. Sarayuth, who plies his trade with Vietnam's V-league outfit Binh Dinh, surprised everyone by showing up at the camp at Meesuwan ground. The former Port Authority of Thailand player was adamant that he was still good enough and begged Chanvit to give him another chance. Chanvit welcomed Sarayuth's move. "It's great to see him come back to the camp." The Thai team is due to play their final warm-up match against Qatar tomorrow. The friendly will take place at Rajamangala National Stadium. Channel 7 will televise the game live from 6.30pm.
