AIRPORTS OF THAILAND's board approved an additional budget of Bt189.24 million to install air-conditioners in educational institutions, hospitals and religious sites located within sensitive and noise-affected areas near Suvarnabhumi Airport that record a noise-exposure forecast of 30-40.

ASIA METAL's board approved the transfer of a large steel-pipe manufacturing machine to Jindal (India) for disposal, for US$4.2 million (Bt145 million). The company will record a loss of Bt65 million from disposal of the machine - which had a book value of Bt52.4 million - and an exchange loss of Bt12.6 million.

GFPT approved a Bt12-million land purchase by subsidiary Krungthai Feedmill from GFPT board chairman Prasit Sirimongkolkasem.
