Double trouble for Apirak at Bangkok Planetarium

Hundreds of twins arriving at Bangkok Planetarium yesterday were an amazing sight. The occasional triplets added another dimension.
But it was the sole quadruplets in the crowd who stole the show.
"It's nice when you see just one pair of twins. But with hundreds of twins here today, you can't ignore the wonder of nature," Bangkok Governor Apirak Kosayodhin said yesterday at the Happy Twins gathering.
Hosted by the Science for Education Centre, the event used fun activities to teach the siblings more about themselves. The event was held while the Sun occupies the constellation of Gemini, the astrological sign symbolised by The Twins.
"We have gathered their information - blood groups and physical abilities - for further academic research," centre director Salin Weerabutr said.
Dr Amporn Benjaponpitak was on hand to offer parents helpful tips about understanding the behaviour of twins and what makes them happy.
"Of course, what I really want to know is how best to raise twins," Napaporn Siri-worapaiboon, 28, said. She considers herself an inexperienced mother. Her twins, aged 15 months, are her first children.
