Guarantee for e-commerce

The Business Development Department yesterday said it would issue a guarantee mark for e-commerce websites to protect consumers from cheating.

Its Electronic Commerce Division also will shut down any website found to be fraudulent after receiving 105 complaints related to inappropriate websites, goods not delivered after payment or poor service.

Division director Wutthikrai Leeveeraphan said 4,137 websites had registered with the department, accounting for trade worth Bt77.48 billion. - The Nation.
