CB Richard Ellis set on local expansion

CB Richard Ellis (Thailand), an international property consultant, is confident it will expand its services after celebrating its 19th year of operations this year.

Managing director Aliwassa Pathnadabutr said last week that the company continued seeking to develop new service platforms and to maintain its high standards and was confident about the promising property market in Thailand.

CB Richard Ellis Thailand was established in 1988 and now has 628 employees in its Bangkok and Phuket offices. It will open branches in Pattaya and Samui in the third and fourth quarters of this year.

Thailand is one of the most important of its offices in Southeast Asia. Last year more than 1,600 transactions, worth over Bt20 billion, were concluded by it. Its core businesses include high-end residential, office and investment markets; research and consulting; valuation; and property management.
