Jailhouse memories

The Corrections Depart-ment yesterday became the first government agency to bury a "time capsule" containing its history, photos and archived information in its compound.

Natthee Jitsawang, the department's director-general, said the capsule would be reopened in 25 years when new information contained in a single microchip would be added. It would then be opened again in 75 years' time.
