FM to brief foreign diplomats about TRT's dissolution

Foreign Ministry will brief foreign envoys about the Constitutional Tribunal's rulings on now-defunct Thai Rak Thai and Democrat Party on Tuesday.

The ministry's permanent secretary Virasakdi Futrakul and Justice Ministry's Charan Pakdithanakul will brief the envoys at 1pm.

The ministry's spokesman Tharit Jarungwat said the session is not specially organised but it is a normal job of the ministry to provide information to the foreign diplomats.

The floor will be open for questioning from the diplomats.

The ministry will also provide English version of the summary of the rulings. The briefing will also touch on the possible impacts on the next election now that TRT which won majority in the past election was disbanded by the Tribunal.

Democrat survived the court's ruling.
