'Two-piece' can Kian Joo Can Factory's "two-piece" can for condensed milk has been a success. The company will start selling the can to Thailand, executive director Anthony See said recently. Exports make up 15 to 16 per cent of the Malaysian company's turnover. Its cans are shipped to Iran, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, China, Thailand and Australia. See said while its Vietnam operation was in profit, it did not contribute much to revenue because of high investment costs. The company manufacturers and distributes cans through its subsidiaries. It makes two-piece aluminium beverage cans, corrugated fibreboard cartons and packaging machinery.
