Pro-Thaksin websites to remain

blocked for months to come
Information and Communications Technology Minister Sitthichai Pookaiyaudom said yesterday websites supporting deposed prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra would continue to be blocked for three more months. Although the Constitution Tribunal dissolved the Thai Rak Thai Party, the ministry would continue to monitor websites of its supporters. If site content was deemed to "instigate conflict" or "cause political turbulence" they would be shut down. He said the ministry could block the website www.hi-thaksin.com but could not shut it down because its Internet protocol was overseas. - The Nation
TRT leaders may address rally Caretaker Thai Rak Thai leader Chaturon Chaisang may join the PTV rally today. Veera Musigapong, co-founder of the satellite broadcaster People's Television (PTV), said he had asked Chaturon and former key members of the Thai Rak Thai to make speeches at the rally, which will be held at Sanam Luang. - The Nation.
No replacement for Prasith Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont said yesterday he had no plans to fill replace Prime Minister's Office minister Prasith Kowilaikul, who quit last week for health reasons.
