Nitya set for ACD meet
Foreign Minister Nitya Pibulsonggram will attend the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) meeting in Seoul on Monday and Tuesday, a press statement from the ministry said yesterday.
The meeting is expected to touch on the proposed study group to explore the future role of the regional grouping, a common monetary policy, the establishment of a secretariat and academic cooperation among ACD members. Nitya will make the trip as an official guest of the South Korean government and will also hold a series of bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Iran, Russia and Tajikistan, the statement said.
