Indonesia shattered Thailand's dreams of qualifying for the Asian Basketball Championship in Japan with a 65-55 win in their third game of the 7th SEABA Men's Champion-ship at the Provincial Gymnasium in Ratchaburi yesterday.
The victory ensured the Indonesians finish in the runners-up spot, which came along with a qualification spot in the Asia Championship in Japan. Indonesia still have one match in hand. The Thai team will possibly conclude the event in fourth place after winning only one game from the three matches. Meanwhile, the Philippines beat Malaysia 102-72 to top the table with three straight wins, while Malaysia are lying in the third.
