Soccer treat
Former Liverpool legends Ian Rush, John Barnes and Viv Anderson (ex-Man United) will take part in a football tournament, which will take place at Dhepatsadin Stadium on June 2-3.
Twenty-four teams over 35 and over 40 years old, mainly amateurs, will participate in the Tesco Lotus Bangkok Masters Football Tournament organised by the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand (BCCT). The 'Happy Elephant Samui' All Stars team will be led by Rush and Barnes. Other teams taking part are from Britain, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Brunei and the Thai, British, German, French and Scandinavian communities in Thailand.
