Hospitality firm opens in Bkk

InVision Hospitality has opened a corporate office in Bangkok to provide investment, strategy and management consulting for hospitality projects in Asia, with a plan to launch its own hotel and residential brand for high-end clients.
"Today's travellers are more discerning. They seek singular experiences, they seek atmosphere. They endeavour to respect the natural environment, where possible, they will even seek to give back to the local community they are visiting. In sum, they expect luxury, minus the gaudy excesses of yesteryear, but with a new sensitivity to aesthetics and good taste," CEO Kevin Beauvais said yesterday. Beauvais has more than 27 years of international experience, with 25 years at Marriott International. The firm will be ready to offer the consulting services in the next quarter. InVision's Soma Hotels and Resorts brand will create a new luxury horizon for those seeking an escape from the ordinary, the company said in a press statement. Key locations are in urban and seaside settings, which will be the essential backdrop for these unique properties. InVision Hospitality will also introduce Soma Residences to consumers wanting a higher standard of ownership, whether for full-time living or as a frequent getaway. They will be integrated with Soma Hotels and Resorts or stand alone. InVision Hospitality Retail - founded in 2000 as Bangkok Boutique - provides retail services to interior design and hotel industries in Asia and the United States. Operating on behalf of internationally renowned brands such as Marriott, Four Seasons and Anantara, InVision has earned a reputation from its services, which include repositioning an existing boutique, creating a new business or sourcing quality and unique merchandise for hotel or retail projects. "A clear corporate vision, international experience with local knowledge, hard work, integrity and a talented team (that has more than 150 years of combined service experience) is what sets InVision Hospitality apart from other hotel management and investment companies, and ensures many years of success ahead," Beauvais said.
