Thailand post : Parcels delivered in 30 minutes

Thailand Post has launched its latest Messenger Post service, which guarantees super-fast delivery: 30 minutes to four hours in Greater Bangkok, faster than its super-EMS service.

Corporate and marketing communications manager Parisa Pananond said the service had been developed to offer more to the public instead of focusing on government agencies alone. It will facilitate corporations and companies who need to send urgent documents and parcels weighing no more than five kilograms.

So far, the service covers 31 postal branches, starting at Bt150 for a 2kg parcel and an additional Bt30 for each kilo above that. The price includes insurance. Parisa said the service guaranteed that customers would receive documents or parcels within 30 minutes to four hours, depending on the distance. - The Nation.
