Danai and twins in

[TENNIS] Danai Udomchoke and the Ratiwatana twins have been included in the national squad for the World University Games and the trio are good prospects to win two gold medals for the Kingdom.
Danai, a Bangkok University law student, and Sonchat and Sanchai, studying law at Sripathum University, have qualified for the team due to their rankings in the world's top 500 players. The Ratiwatana siblings won the men's doubles bronze medal in Izmir in the last Universiade two years ago. There is one more vacancy in the men's team, which a handful of players will battle for in a round-robin format. Rising stars Weerapat Doakmaiklee, Kirati Siributwong, Kittipong Wachiramanowong and Peerakiat Sirilue-thaiwattana are all in selection trials for the final spot in the team. The women's team is simpler, with four players ranked inside the top 500 and gaining automatic selection. Napaporn Tongsalee, Monthinee Tangphong, Nudnida Luangnam and Suchanan Viratprasert will carry the Thai flag in the sporting event in August. The Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand (LTAT)'s National Tennis Centre in Nonthaburi will be the venue for the competition. The LTAT is pinning high hopes on Danai grabbing the men's singles gold and the Ratiwatana twins taking the men's doubles. The same line-up is likely to represent Thailand at the SEA Games, which be held in Nakhon Ratchasima in December.
