Democrats' closing statement
The Democrat Party will distribute copies of its written closing statement in the electoral-fraud case to the public from May 15, a party executive said yesterday.
Nipit Intarasombat, also a lawyer on the party's defence team, said the decision to publish the Democrats' closing statement to the Constitution Tribunal was taken at a meeting of party executives yesterday.The Constitution Tribunal has set May 30 for its verdict on whether the Democrat, Thai Rak Thai and three smaller political parties are guilty of electoral fraud and should be dissolved. Nipit said the party would also send copies of its closing statement to lawyers and libraries.
