Sudket and Saralee win

[BADMINTON] Thailand's Sudket Prakamol and Saralee Thungthongkam saw off their Russians rivals to secure a second-round place in the mixed-doubles at the US$200,000 Singapore Open Super Series in Singapore City yesterday.
Sudket and Saralee, the world No 3, sent Nina Vislova and Alexandr Nikolaenko packing 13-21 21-14 22-20 in the first round to set up a tough tie against South Koreans Lee Jae-jin and Lee Hyo-jung with whom the Thais have a 2-2 head-to-head record. Their compatriots Songpon Anukrittayawan and Kunchala Voravichitchaikul also joined them in the second round after downing Kennevic and Kennie Asuncion of the Philippines 16-21 24-22 21-14. In the men's singles, Boonsak Ponsana defeated Indonesian qualifier Alamsyah 21-19 21-17 to reach the second round.
