A better Bangkok

The annual Architect Expo aims to involve the public in designing a true City of Angels

Bangkok residents who once perceived the capital as a great city but are now dismayed by the unplanned urban spread it's become, are invited to take a new look at the metropolis this week.

The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage is encouraging Bangkokians to study the conurbation at its digital gallery "Bangkok is a Great City?"

This interactive exhibition is part of the Architect Expo 2007, which opens tomorrow at Challenger Hall, Muang Thong Thani. The exhibition, under the theme "Leap to the Future", ends on May 6. The aim of the event is to bring architects and the public together so they can share perspectives and help build a better Bangkok.
