Company reports

HANA MICROELECTRONICS last Friday reported Unisem (M) entered into a sale and purchase agreement to acquire up to 100 per cent of the issued and paid-up capital of the company's Advanced Interconnect Technologies affiliate for US$70.25 million (Bt2.44 billion) in cash.

PTT announced it would extend the useful life of its main natural-gas transmission pipelines from 25 years to 40 by taking into account the corrosion rate and gas-reserve quantity under the company's natural-gas sale and purchase agreement with producers. In addition, by taking into account plant integrity and plant design, the company will extend the useful life of its Unit 3 gas-separation plant from 15 years to 25 and of its Unit 4 gas-separation plant from 15 years to 20.

THAI-GERMAN PRODUCTS shares will be transferred by the Stock Exchange of Thailand from the Non-Performing Group to the Industrials Group, from May 3 onwards. The company submitted its request for approval to remove the causes of possible delisting.
