Trust me, I'm a stock analyst

Police yesterday arrested a man who has duped money out of more than 20 women, who were initially his online chat friends.

Wutthirat Limson, 21, was arrested yesterday at Lat Phrao Soi 122 while allegedly trying to swindle his latest victim. Bang Khen police had been following him because of the many arrest warrants issued against him.

The suspect, who has been charged with theft, fraud, extortion, is a vocational school dropout. He has told police he preyed on about 20 women who he got to know through online chatting - and had sex with them in some cases.

Bang Khen police who made the arrest quoted him as saying that he usually lied to the women that his father "owned a private hospital" and he himself worked as a stock analyst with a financial company. His latest scam allegedly netted about Bt1.4 million cash and a car.
