Love's crooked path

Pongpat Wachirabanjong examines the relationship between a woman and her 'katoey' lover in his big-screen debut

Can a katoey (ladyboy) really fall in love with a woman? Well, in the movies they apparently can, as veteran actor Pongpat Wachirabanjong shows in his directorial debut "Khor Hai Rak Jong Jaroen" ("Me, Myself"). It's the story of an effeminate man, who falls in love with the woman who's knocked him down. However, when his memory returns, he discovers that he's a dancer with the Alcazar cabaret.
