The agreement aims to create a solid platform for the MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions) industry. and covers cooperation between the two organisations in areas such as budget allocations for studies related to industry-personnel development and for trade and road shows to promote the industry in Thailand. This includes support for advertising and publicity programs via print materials and on industry websites. The cooperative agreement between TCEB and TICA will enhance operational and personnel performance of TICA's members. These comprise 258 organisations nationwide specialising in international convention services, including hotels and resorts, tour operators, professional convention and exhibition organisers, contractors and event-management companies. TCEB also provides support for other private sector members who will have a positive impact on the future of the MICE industry in Thailand.
