New Thailand agent
Australia's Summit Global Logistics said last week that it had entered into an agency agreement with Borneo Logistics Ltd to provide supply-chain services in Thailand, as part of establishing a network in Asia.
Besides Borneo Logistics, the agency network also includes EMCS Philippines, Euro Pac Shipping for Singapore and Cambodia, General Forwarding & Agency in Vietnam, Mackinnon Mackenzie in Sri Lanka, Asia Dinamika Logistik in Malaysia, Atlantic Container Line in Indonesia and Blue Moon Logistics for India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and the UAE market. President and CEO Robert Agresti said the establishment of its Asian network was "a huge step forward" for Summit Global and a crucial element in its growth strategy.
