Salee sales soar

Salee Industry, a maker of plastic parts for electrical and electronic appliances, expects sales to surge 30 per cent to Bt1 billion this year now its subsidiary SC Wado is running at full capacity, managing director Sathit Tatawatorn said yesterday.

Net profit rose 27 per cent to Bt36.93 million on a 66-per-cent gain in revenues to Bt631 million last year. - The Nation.

The Industrial Index in January expanded 7.43 per cent year on year, boosted by manufacturing in the sugar, computer parts, steel, air-conditioner, plastic-pellet, beer and tobacco industries, the Industrial Economics Office reported yesterday. Capacity use remained at 65.5 per cent. - The Nation.
